Abstract

In the article on the materials of the foreign policy doctrine of the constitutional democrats’ party the problem of Russian-English relations in the beginning of the XX century is considered. The author pays attention to ascertaining by cadets such a fact, that at the end of the XIX – the beginning of the XX centuries Russia and England considered each other as « true enemies ». The results of the Russian-Japanese war gave the opportunity of the approach of two states which has been fixed by agreement in 1907 and got a high estimation by the party. Despite of some "disjoint" of England before the First World War, cadets considered, as researcher points out, that maintenance of friendship with this country in the international and internal policy interests of Russia is necessary.
